Women tend to get more assistance from homeless agencies and the government. They also get faster results from these agencies than men do.

Majority of cities in the US have homeless shelters for men and women. Mens shelters fill up quick, and still a decent amount of people have to sleep outside. Some also choose to sleep outside. Shelters are cesspools of germs, bugs, and sheer nastyness. I've never seen the inside of a women's shelter but from what I've herd there a million times better than any mens.

In UK if a women is a single mother she gets a council house. Single men? Go sleep on the streets.

I mean 90%? of homeless in my city are men....sure there is a homeless woman now and then but its a pretty lopsided ratio.
