After fomenting an insurrection to try and turn the US into a banana republic, Trump is now exercising his populist martyr rhetoric to play the victim of political persecution for a crime he did, in fact, commit.

And, now, it's likely he'll win the election. At which point, he'll do everything possible to follow-up on his dictatorial aspirations, beginning with a systematic overhaul of the government.

Despite his ostensible stupidity and cringe comedy, he's actually quite brilliant in his political maneuvering.
