Thanks to gerrymandering, special interests, lobbyists, and plain ol corruption congressional representatives have not been chosen by the people but rather the people vote upon a pre-approved list of candidates. That means Congress is no longer made up of true representatives of the people but rather representatives of industry, commerce, religion, and propaganda. If true, that means Congress no longer actually represents the people and therefore Congress is, in its current state, unconstitutional.
" Article I, Section 2, Clause 1. It says:The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature."
Notice how it doesn't say, the people will vote upon pre-selected candidates that are chosen by powerful individuals or organizations thanks to commerce, industry, and media control. It doesn't say anything CLOSE to that.
So, I ask you, do you feel that the candidates for US Senate and House of Representatives are chosen by the people, or are the people voting upon preapproved candidates? If you believe it is the latter, congress, as it is, is an unconstitutional body.
EDIT: RE: Write in candidates: If I give you a dollar and someone has a million, you both have the ability to buy a company, who will be successful? Write in candidates are a dollar, party candidates are a million, who will win? Party candidates every time. Believing write-n candidates equals freedom is for fucking morons. It is the equivalent to giving your kid brother an unplugged xbox controller and telling them they are playing too.
It's become unconstitutional since they banned alcohol.
