Look, I get it. Being a mod is thankless volunteer work. But lately, I feel like some of them have lost sight of Reddit's purpose: diverse, vibrant communities engaged in free-flowing debates.
One-sided moderation: Reddit's supposed to be a buffet of ideas, but it's feeling more like a pre-fixed meal. Some mods lean heavily into their biases, making certain subreddits echo chambers. Feels like Iām being force-fed one opinion with no room for my own.
Lack of Reasonableness: Ever had a comment axed or account banned, not because you broke a rule, but because a mod didn't like your perspective? The censorship feels less about maintaining peace and more about power trips.
We need a Reddit that champions open dialogue, not a platform dictated by the whims of moderators. Here's to a more balanced, fair, and truly open Reddit.
