I was in the forest near my house with my now ex girl. We were making out on a bench when we began to see veryyy bright torches flash down pathways and we heard the noise of metal banging against metal. I know this forest inside and out so I know where metal things are, they must’ve been 500 yards away but the sound was unmistakable. We immediately darted towards my house. The light tracked our steps as we charged home. It slipped through trees to catch us and every path we looked down the light would stare right back. I’m convinced we were minutes away from being surrounded. We sprinted the mile home and the torches caught us the whole way, fair to say I don’t go to that forest at night anymore. Could’ve been harmless, but it scared the living shit out of me. I do a lot of late walks so I see plenty of creepy ass shit. Most is probably harmless misunderstandings but creepy nonetheless.
