My daughter’s music teacher committed suicide this morning

We just found out as the news story was published.

My daughter (6yo) is very caring, and she definitely loved him. She has been carrying a Halloween candy bag for him but he hadn’t been to school since Monday.

This man was an excellent teacher, loved by all his students and surely his peers. Just the friendliest of faces, always a fun attitude… I didn’t know the guy personally, but I’m heartbroken. Young students aren’t aware yet, high schoolers found out and are dealing with it hard. It pains me she won’t be able to give him his candy that she picked for him. I don’t even know if or how I will tell her.
