I’ve been 2 years with no friends to meet in person with and it makes me feel sad
Post Body

I used to have friends I could hang out with but quarantine hit and most of them left to different parts of the country I used to live in, when the quarantine was over I came back to live here in the US(I’m from here)

It took me two months to find a job and in may of last year I got one as a caregiver for elderly people, after that I’ve been head in this job with no social interaction with people my age and It’s affected me greatly, I have no social skills at all, my subjects are so small I can count them with one hand

I’ve tried making friends but I don’t know what to say nor what to do to keep the conversation interesting and it’s even worse since I grew up in an environment completely different to that of the US and I feel like whatever I say people will take it the wrong way, is there any way I could find my own community, I’ve heard there is group for this but I don’t want to fuck it up and feel scared at trying after so long
