We all went for family dinner after a big event. I arrived with my girlfriend and her family, and got seated in the middle of the table. Then her sister arrived with her boyfriends family. Her sister ended up sitting directly across from me.

I was making some really nice conversation with the boyfriend’s family, they’ve always been super kind to me since he and I were kids. But I kept looking up to see my GF’s sister making very concentrated eye contact with me while I talked.

I was wearing a tighter button up shirt, and only buttoned it most of the way up. At one point I watched her eyes trail down from mine. Her gaze stopped at my mouth for a moment. Then she looked down at my chest, and she bit her lip.

I had no idea what to do, so i didn’t do anything. I didn’t tell my girlfriend because I didn’t know if I was entirely sure about what I saw. But the more I think about it, the more I realize and the more uncomfortable I get. I don’t expect anything to come of it, and we had never had this sort of interaction in the past, at least to my knowledge. It was just weird.

Edit: for clarification, there was obviously no intercourse involving eyes. It’s a phrase, maybe it’s regional. My girlfriend and I have been together for 3 years. Her sister has recently been bouncing around a couple of different guys, involving the “boyfriend” mentioned above. But apparently this situation is a lot more convoluted than I knew. I don’t plan on acting on it at all, I’m very committed to my girlfriend. It just created a lot of internal distress for me having so many signals directed at me from her sister of all people. Discomfort, really
