Working with customer service, I've come to loathe stupid people. Not because they are stupid, but because when stupid people have a problem it becomes YOUR problem.
Post Body

I'm sure the sheer number of people that don't come to me and solve their own problems outweigh these kinds of people but it's fucking unbearable.

Stupid people make NO attempt to solve any problem whatsoever, no matter how simple, and demand YOU fix their problem. Not even tell them how THEY can fix your problem, whatever problem they had is now completely offloaded onto the first fucking person they see whether or not they even have the ability to help them.

I'm not talking about "Hey where is the aisle for X product" because those kinds of things are understandable. I'm talking about people who aren't moving around and wondering why they aren't walking because they forget to move their legs.

I work in a gas station, and the pumps are extremely easy to use. It's an extension of our grocery store, and the process is simple if you even have a 1st grade reading comprehension.

The process is as follows: Insert card, select credit or debit, say yes or no when it asks if you have my chains value card and pump your gas. That's it.

I must get at least 20 people a day who get stuck on step 3 and just sit there clacking the handle of the gas pump for literally minutes just screaming "WHY WONT IT WORK??????????"

I can understand people not expecting the question but EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail they make literally no fucking attempt to try to figure out what had gone wrong and they either stand there looking at me from their car or scream at me saying "the pump isn't on!" Like I'm some sort of fucking idiot.

I swear to God I want to kill them! No matter how small of an issue stupid people have they immediately offload it onto the nearest person! How do these people drive? vote? RAISE CHILDREN????
