Covid origins-wasn’t it in Europe before or around the same time as China?

Why is the blame all in China? Like I just saw an article with some rep from Texas saying that China was just trying to cover up that this came from their labs.

It’s so stupid. I think it is important to understand that origins, like was it from animals, which ones, and what can we do. But blaming China with no evidence is just so lame, and results in a lot of racism and xenophobia and just general misinformation.

Also I believe there is current evidence that the Corona virus was showing up in Europe (around October) before it showed up in China or it was around the same timeline, based on an investigation by WHO, so wouldn’t Europe also be a possible origin site? And people in the us showed to have antibodies for covid in dec 2019. Also in Italy in august 2019.

Idk like obviously it will be difficult to find the origins so I think pointing blame prematurely is going to backfire.
