I have a gripe with the relationship advice subreddit, mainly that they treat the romantic partner being shown in a negative light like the spawn of Satan. It's always "he's just an asshole," and "she's not worth it." A full 90% of comments are just telling people to dump their romantic partner. Almost every answer refuses to assume the best or give someone the benefit of the doubt, or even just offer advice if you knew something was broken and wanted to work it out. Newsflash: nobody is "just" an asshole. Everyone is the hero of their story. People would do better to find out why instead of marking them the villain.
