*RANT* If you can BUY a house you can BUY curtains

Also I want to state right off, That I know it's absolutely none of my business, what they do with their own property.

So I live in a decent neighborhood, most of the houses are owned by the people living in them. So not a lot of rent houses. Pretty quiet neighborhood.

And about 7 or 8 months ago, a family bought this house down the street. Which I have always driven by and kinda admired because I thought it was a neat house. I liked the layout it had and the big windows to let in light, and it had like a separate apartment in the back of the property which I thought was friggin sweet.

While it was for sale I would like to daydream if I had it I could use the main house for family and use the little apartment as a craft cave and shop, then maybe when my son got old enough he could use it to start out and what not.

So I was excited to see what the new owners would do with the limitless options.

Well people move in and all of a sudden there's somehow 3 new mailboxes in the front by the curb, which kinda is a throw because our neighborhood has the boxes on the houses but whatever, I guess they were taking advantage of the property and 2 families are able to use it. Cool ya know.

But then they use the whole yard as a driveway, rutting out both sides of the house, trashing the yard. But hey it's their house and what else were they supposed to do with all the cars and what not. And they're also just generally trashing the property.

But the thing that really gets me, in the 8 months they have been actively living in this house, not a single curtain has been put up. Not one in any of the front facing windows. It's crazy to me. All the wasted potential. You can plainly see in these people's house. You can plainly see the hoarding on the inside. I don't know why the curtain thing bugs me the most. You can buy a house but not curtains.

Td;lr family buys nice house down the street 8 months ago and hasn't put up a single curtain.
