I don't believe in adopt before shop.
I don't believe in mandatory neutering/spaying.
I don't believe that buying a purebred is taking away a home from a shelter dog.
I'm tired of being told that I'm not allowed to make these decisions, I can breed a temperament tested, show proven, medically tested dog if I like. I have no remorse for it.
I'm not going to spay my cat just because some internet shit told me I have to. She's 5 lbs and can't open the door to my apartment how they fuck would she get out? I watch her closely while she's in heat. I'm not irresponsible.
I'm sorry that there are so many dogs in shelters, but I like owning high energy working dogs, dogs that I prefer have the temperament for sports I enjoy. That's not something I can usually get at a pound.
I'm tired of my choices as a pet owner being determined by emotion, and not by my right to make decisions.
