Why the fuck is bigger automatically considered better and easier? Every fucking site out there now is cranking their font sizes, embedding gigantic pointless images mid article, and creating more wasted blank space. All of this is under the guise of making it easier to read when all that's really happening is information is being hidden behind menus and scrolling. I have to work harder to find the same info that used to be readily available.
Fucking Bing today changed their video search to only show 8 results instead of the usual 10 in my browser window without scrolling. This is because it apparently makes it easier to find the video I'm looking for, but really it just makes it so I have to hunt for it more. Showing me less videos per page makes it easier to find the video I'm looking for? How does this make sense to anybody?
Then there's this announcement page:

The first thing you see (only thing you see) is a fucking GIGANTIC title and a huge pointless image that contributes nothing to the article. Now I have to scroll almost half a page just to reach the first written word. Of course, the first paragraph is really just a rewording of the title anyway so more scrolling required to find something actually relevant.
PS: Fucking Youtube's load more button. Fuck whoever created that. Go find a playlist with 500 videos and watch the 250th. You have to click "load more" and scroll fucking 20 times to get midway through the playlist cause there's fuck all for sort options or search and no page numbers. Accidentally clicked a video and got sent away from the page? Well fuck you start over.
