it's crazy how much people will judge me for being single at 28. I’m literally living my best life, focusing on my career, traveling, and doing the things that make me happy but apparently, that’s not enough because every time i meet someone new or talk to family, the first question is always like "so, are you seeing anyone?" like why is being single such a big deal? i know so many people who rush into relationships just to meet some societal expectation, but i’m not here for that. I don’t need a partner to feel validated or fulfilled it’s just frustrating how much pressure is put on women to have their lives "figured out" by a certain age, whether it’s having a partner, a house, or even kids. i’m just doing me, and it should be okay for me to live at my own pace without being judged.
