Chicken, beef, pork, lamb, etc. Any meat that you prep should be rinsed off. The fact that you think it's totally OK to take a peice of raw meat from the package and slap it on the grill or in a pan, concerns the fuck out of me.
Furthermore, why do people not understand that when you cook, you clean? The argument I always run into is, "when you rinse your chicken, you spread salmonella everywhere". First off, if you're rinsing your chicken properly, you're not splashing water every fucking where. Secondly, the areas that the "chickeny water" does come in contact with counters and sinks should be cleaned after you're done in the area. The area should be disinfected.
When anyone says they don't wash(were talking about rinsing off dirt and slime and anything else that you can or can't see) their chicken (or anything else for that matter), all I hear is "I'm dirty when it comes to cooking and cleaning".
And that's cool. I'm not accepting your invite for dinner.
