Vent: I feel like I’m going nowhere with my company
Post Body

I am an HR Representative with a masters in an unrelated field. My company has had an HR Manager position open for 6 months I’ve applied 4 times and have been rejected all times. I’ve been here over a year. They just hired someone who is 2 years younger than me with no to less experience. I feel like quitting and giving up. I’m moving over an hour away from my job soon so I really think I’m going to focus on trying to find something else. That or just stop trying so hard and just show up and go home. Not my circus not my monkeys approach. I also feel lied to by the other HR person I work closely with and so idk how not to act some type of way. I think I’m gonna be quiet and just keep my head down and just say fuck them. They aren’t my friends and I’m not going to pretend they are.
