To give a long story short, I met this girl in a classroom and she noticed that I play video games that she also liked. We struck up a conversation before she had to leave for another class. Fast forward the next day and she offhandedly mentioned that she had a BF. I wasn't sure what I was thinking afterward, other than I need to find a GF immediately due to overwhelming FOMO and emotional hysteria. Kinda hate how that I've kept being reinforced by the idea that "If you find anyone that shares the same interests as yours, then she NEEDS to be engaged before meeting you, because fuck you."

This also drove me to set up a facebook dating profile just because I need to get any semblance of euphoria/dopamine, which might be the dumbest move I have done, but at this point I really don't know how to swallow my emotional outburst other than overcompensate for it.
