It is bad enough crossing the street when unobservant assholes don’t come to complete stops, look both ways, or outright ignore stop signs and signals. It’s another when assholes stop ON the crosswalk and carelessly gesture pedestrians to cross in front of them, not taking into account oncoming traffic from any side that will kill someone moving in front of their car.
