I got humiliated by an influencer online.
Post Body

I stitched an influencer's video on tiktok. This person had over 1 million followers. I thought their mentions, @s, and comments would be so busy that my little tiktok would get lost somewhere in the sauce ya know? I did not expect them to see it or respond to it, and if they did, i did not expect them to respond the way thay did.

I was disagreeing with what this person was saying in their video, but I wasn't being mean in my response. I was just explaining the faults I saw in their arguement. I was actually being kinda light-hearted & at this point I wish I wasn't & I was more serious & articulate because they ended up cherry-picking one hypothetical statement i made & very cleverly cutting out the part where I said "if", and twisting the statement into some humiliating sexual confession.

I'm so embarrassed. I have less than 200 followers on tiktok. A lot of people came to my account making fun of me & calling me stupid. Someone even threatened me. Someone then accused me of basically being "sexist" because I was arguing with mainly women because 95% of the people coming to my account talking sh*t were women (the other 5% were gay men). Wtf was I supposed to do? Just let these women flock to my account & ridicule me?

I'm so upset. I feel so small & weak. This influencer really just had the power to just humiliate me like this & I know she's somewhere not even thinking about me(this happened a few days ago). The small things I did to defend myself most likely affected her in no way.

I just hate that this humiliating lie is out there about me. Even though i don't think the video went viral, it got like 25k views(i can't check cuz i uninstalled tiktok from my phone), it's still on an influencer's page & anyone binging her content in the future will see it. Who knows, maybe someone will put it on their socials. Or i can imagine someone making like a supercut edit of this influencer "owning" men & posting it on tiktok or youtube ya know? Like "(insert name here) making men look stupid for 10 minutes straight". & then having my video be in there.
