Both of us are teenagers, but im 1 year older and we had a friend group with a third guy who is currently my closest friend. Basically, ive known both of these guys for well over 10 years and decided to get them to know each other 6 years ago and we stayed a strong friend group since until recently that even the third friend starting noticing something’s off.1)He suddenly started caring about WAY TOOMUCH about his hair and keeps bringing up how he wants to grow it out( not to be rude, but i see that as feminine af, not the growing out part, but giving that much shit about it.) asking me about how his haircut looks like every 2 weeks when it looks the same. 2) his interested shifted completely and he now hangs out with a new friend group, he doesnt ask me and my other friend if we wanna hang out, he only reaches out to me to chill in my house when he gets bored of his house, and when i say “chill” i mean minding his own business watching tiktoks chatting with me for like 5 minutes only and even watching tv in a whole different room instead of sitting with me in my room. Now dont get me wrong, im not jealous that he stopped hanging out with me im happy that he has found friends who fit his new interests, but i dont know how to tell him that we are done, i still wanna talk with him but no where near as much as before and i wanna tell him that we dont wanna hang out with him anymore, but its hard for me cuz i dont wanna be rude since he is somewhat a nice person
