My condolences go out to all the children who won’t celebrate Mother’s Day. To the young and adult children; whether due to death or estrangement. All children deserve loving parents but not all parents deserve children.
For the times when you needed encouragement; I see you and you are so strong. You can do anything, even if it takes longer than most, that’s okay. I’m proud of you.
For the times when you needed acceptance; you are perfect just the way you are or want to be. Your comfort and confidence goes above what anyone else thinks.
For the times when you needed empathy; even if I cannot understand what you are going through, I feel for you. I will listen with an open heart and mind.
For the times when you needed attention; you are free to tell me all the things you are excited or happy about. Be proud of all your accomplishments, whether you got a new job or you were able to get out of bed and have breakfast.
For the times when you needed forgiveness; you are a human being with flaws. If it’s okay for others to make mistakes and be forgiven, then you deserve that as well.
For the times when you needed love; I love you. There are so many people who will love you for you, family goes far beyond blood.
If any of these resonate with you and you need someone to talk to, please feel free to message me.
Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers that truly love and care for their child.
