He hasn’t worked since having children and barely did before having them. His girlfriend works with me and doesn’t see that he won’t change. Just a constant cycle of “what now?” With him. He considers himself the smartest person he knows and thinks God is going to tell him what to do. I can’t help anymore than giving them the temporary roof over their heads, but I can’t stop thinking about what to do and worrying about my nieces.
