I recently came across a brilliant stop-motion piece from 1930 called Hearts and Flowers and am keen to find more in this vein. There was a post on r/movies a few years back where someone had compiled the best of George Melies's works for handy viewing, so I watched a bunch of them back to back since they're all relatively short.
I was wondering if there's any kind of list or recommendations I can compile for old-school stop-motion animation to go on a deep dive into this niche. Related stuff is welcome as well.
