Is it just me, or are the police folks of Ennis kinda nonchalant about 8 missing scientists?

These 8 folks go missing with no evidence that all of them went out on an organized expedition and there’s a severed tongue on the floor, and the state trooper and chief of police are worried about an Inuit unsolved murder, while having sex, making soup, and yelling at their kids for making sex tapes.

I mean… I get it’s weird conditions with perpetual night, but you’d figure they’d at least phone Anchorage and give them a heads up.

Anyway. Just thought I’d vent. But these types of things make watching TV shows difficult got me sometimes.
