Had an interesting massage experience the other day that I figured I'd share. There's a spa I go to regularly that is very respectable, not at all the sort of place one would go for a happy ending or such. Despite going once a month or so I rarely ever seem to have the same MT, which doesn't really matter to me. They have a large staff there and everyone is very well trained, so I never worry whether I'm going to get a quality treatment. I've gone in for sports massages after injuries and I've gone there just for relaxation, and everything inbetween. Until recently I've never had any odd interactions with any of the MTs.

On this visit I had a newer massage therapist who was a bit younger than most of their others, maybe a recent hire, I'm not sure. She brings me into the room and we go over the basics of what I'm looking for, any trouble areas, etc. And then she leaves the room to let me disrobe, lie down and get comfortable. Everything normal so far. She starts in on the massage beggining on my back and shoulders and I'm actually quite impressed, she has a good technique, a better judge of pressure than some of the other MTs there, and I start thinking I should ask for her from now on when I come in. Then she moves down to my legs and I continue to be surprised at her technique. Some therapists are too agressive on the shins or calves, and while I like a good level of pressure, it can get a little agonizing. But this particular tech is doing a great job, satisfying but no pain, I've all but made up my mind at this point that she's my go to.

But then here's where it started to get a little odd. She pulls back the sheet covering my legs so she can get higher up working into my thigh, and that's pretty normal. Then she pulls it back a bit more to uncover my butt cheek on the side she's massaging, and I'm feeling a little more exposed than usual. Then she shifts it back a bit farther and really works on my butt for a while. Now, I'm a big guy, well over 6" even soft, and I know I'm on full display down there. With how she's working on my butt there's no way she doesn't have an eye full. The longer she works on massaging my butt cheek the more I start to wonder if this is part of the massage is entirely necessary. Then she replaces the sheet, and goes to work on the other side where she repeats the entire process, including the long butt work with the sheet pulled way back.

But she doesn't make any other move to grab me or anything, so I don't make a big deal out of it. She moves on with the massage and eventually has me turn over onto my back. At this point she slides a foam roller under my knees, which is something the MTs always do for comfort.

Again, she goes back to a normal massage routine with her own style and everything seems fine until she goes back to working my legs again. Now she slides the sheet back again and pulls my knees to the side so she can massage my inner thigh. I don't recall ever having that kind of treatment from an MT here and I'm starting to think something is up. She placed a cloth over my eyes when I turned over, like they always do, but I'm tempted to take it off and look at her, because she is working her fingers into my inner thigh about as close as she possibly can without actually grabbing hold of my package. Again, she's in there far longer than seems reasonable, and I know she has to be staring at my huge package the whole time.

I expect her to grab hold of it at any second, or make some kind of pass, but then she moves on with the massage and everything goes back to normal, so again I don't make a big deal of it. We finish up the massage and she leaves to let me put my robe back on and meets me in the hallway.

She's professional again, if quite smiley, when she brings me tea afterward. She talks me through the after massage care, like drinking plenty of water etc., as though I havent had a massage before, and takes me back to the locker room, with no other oddities. Still, not sure if I want to see this MT again now though.
