My Girlfriend of 4 years is Asexual, for anyone who doesn't know that means doesn't experience sexual attraction. And I can see from an outside perspective how me dating someone like that can seem counter intuitive. But honestly it's great. We have a really tight bond that I've never experienced with anyone else, and she is just great, fantastic even, or in 90s slang, ace.

The no sex thing does get a little annoying every now and then, but not at her. We have this little arrangement where shes completely fine if I sleep with others, as long as it's not behind her back. But this story isn't about any of those, its about her.

More specifically its about those little moments that catch me off guard. You see, she describes herself as a "Sex Repulsed" asexual. By all means on paper shes the exact opposite of me a sex loving bisexual. And most of the time thats accurate. But every now and then she lets slip something, usually a compliment about my size, followed by suddenly changing the subject.

The first time she saw was "Have you got a semi?," after replying "No" she just stated "wow" before changing thd subject. And every now and then she just casually says something related, for example once we were talking about biology, and what weird mutations humans could have, I said "Imagine if we have 3 legs," and she looked at my crotch and stated "You do." Before the usual sudden changing of subjects. Another was we were in a charity shop, and she picked up a magnifying glass and said, "Don't need this for you," and put it to my crotch, before snapping outnof it putting it back and walking away.

While other things have slightly happened, other things said, I'll move on to the latest. This time we were in a museum in town, and we got to a statue of a naked dude, and she pointed at his little willy and started laughing. I asked what was funny, and she stated "It looks so weird not hanging below the balls," I replied, "Isn't that just normal?" And she turned to me, cupped my crotch and said, "True, not everyone walks around with a permenant semi." And then, suddenly pulled it off, and walked off whistling, refusing to acknowledge she said that.

I gotta admit those moments are kinda weird, but it's also kinda fun when this self-proclaimed sex repulsed asexual seems to have a thing for it, even if she won't ever go further than that. And I respect that honestly, she is my world.
