Just as the title says, can I skip JoJo Part IV and move onto Part V without any issue? I tried asking on the JoJo subreddit, but those people are blinded by an irrational love for the show and treat anyone who dislikes it like an idiot. I also attempted asking on the /r anime subreddit, but I got nothing but 10 year old's on there.

Because I've tried, I really have tried to give Part 4 a chance but...I can't anymore. I respect everyone who loves DIU, and I admit that it has some very fun moments...But god do I find it boring. It's the only JoJo part so far that I've skimmed through episodes(The Manga Artist), or dropped mid episode and looked up on the wiki(The Harvest).

I know I'm close to Kira(Apparently better than DIO) but I just do not care for DIU. I don't like the main cast besides Jotaro and Joseph, and the setting only being in a small town and not a adventure really limits the set pieces they can work with.

Maybe I need a break like I stated in a past post...But I'm also really thinking of just moving on to Part 5, which I've heard is much more like Part 3.

Just wondering if there are any plot points I'd need to look up, or if I can move on safely.
