So about the time this group was started I took it upon myself to try and get my health in check.
After cutting out soda and other sugary drinks, I have seen the benefits of drinking copious amounts of water. I’m more awake during my daily run and am completing stops at an incredible rate.
I’ve also been making smarter eating decisions and tracking my daily intake. After my first week of tracking I found out how far filled my diet was. My original eating habits in a day had over 150 to 200 grams of fat in it. I knew I needed to change it. I started to meal prep and consuming a more balanced diet.
In addition to diet I’ve also started to hit the gym on a regular basis. I’m down five pounds since I started and am excited to keep going with it.
It definitely is hard to fit all this into the hectic schedule of being a truck driver but it’s definitely worth it.
