Seen my first real super trucker last night. I don't pay much attention to the trucks I pass, but the flapping of the rags on this trucks mirrors caught my attention. He had ever mirror covered in black rags and tied with rope. Thought that was a rather stupid choice, since they were limiting vision so much. Then when I got past him, he had his brights on and it made since. They blocked all their mirrors so no one running behind will blind them, and figured everyone else could do the same if they didn't like thier brights. I really don't care for dot, but shit like this is getting out of hand. I rarely come across an open scale (one every 6 months or so), and more trucks are taking advantage of this. I can deal with cars running with their brights, but for some reason other trucks doing it really get to me. The covering of mirrors though, takes it to a whole new level.
