Getting CDL

Hey guys, I’ve always wanted to get my CDL A to be a truck driver. I’m currently working in Amazon as a manager, I’m making $25/hr I’ve seen many truck driving jobs for less then this. Would you guys recommend me get the CDL? I was thinking on getting my CDL with Ashley Furniture, is this a good company?
I’m ready to get my CDL permit, are there more companies that offer paid CDL training? Is it better to go to trucking school?
I appreciate as much info as possible, thank you guys.
