I am a 28 yo man, and have recently been thinking of getting my class A to drive trucks. I’ve done research into it, been watching lots of trucking vlogs on YouTube, and it overall seems like a career I want to do. I currently work at fedex as a delivery driver which required me to obtain my chauffeurs, and my trainer has her class a. She used to drive otr, and told me a bunch of bad things about it. It still doesn’t stray me away. I want to do this. There’s a company in MI that partnered with a trucking company and a school to provide free CDL training, and I was wondering should I quit what I’m doing and just go for it?
