Been driving pretty much non stop for 6 years. New safety rules are getting a lil ridiculous at my current employer. Had about 15 people quit after they swapped to 61.5 mph trucks. Trainers/people been their 5 years get to do 72mph. And make more money. And have to spend less time driving. Which imo is BS. They had to sign a new contract with Western Express to handle the loads. They're making more than us surprisingly. Thanksgiving this week has just hit me hard. Wife went to stay with family. Parents went to friends. And idunno it just hurts. Cause guess who has to mandatory work on Thanksgiving??? I'm tired. And I'm honestly getting to the point that'd Id be happy to not drive again. My back my legs my neck all hurt. I'm so over trucking.
