Truck for a slide in camper
Post Body

Hey all - in the market for a truck in the next year and I’ve always wanted a slide in camper. I’ve been paying close attention to payloads and for a 1/2 ton ford has the most capacity but more and more I see folks saying you need to go bigger.

I don’t really need a 250, or a 2500 Chevy/sierra as this will be my daily driver and camper for trips.

I guess my question is - what’s everyone running? Also I should note I’m not looking at a camper with toilet/shower just something to sleep in, heat up some water and cook a basic meal in!
