Fishing and World Difficulty - Does it change anything?

Each realm difficulty has their own loot tier - until you reach Uber, which is varying degrees and rarities of Shadow gear.
So it is true that yes, realm difficulties do affect gear drops.
But do they affect fishing loot chances? My initial assumption is no, but Trove has a lot of subtle changes that deal with Uber worlds, so the possibility is open... just hoping someone else would know if this was tested and confirmed/denied.
