Beatrice could feel the filth of the ritual clinging to her skin underneath her habit. She glanced around, wondering if any of her sisters would be able to tell. She could still feel the heat of the hands against her rear, the trace of the brush as it inscribed the demonic circle upon her body. More maddening though was the tug of the chain attached to her crotch. There was no way to remove it that she could figure out. Now, with every step, she felt the weight of her sins tugging at her labia.
