What am I doing wrong? Malwarebytes never scans.

Whenever I run the Tron script (currently using v4.3.2), when I come back to the machine, the Malwarebytes GUI is up with a "Scan Now" button. It says it hasn't scanned or updated. So I click the buttons to make it update and scan, but this seems to defeat the purpose of the Tron script.
Have I misunderstood something? Or am I doing something wrong? What's up?
