Elliot Mason's solo on Dave Brubeck's "Lost Waltz"

I'm a big fan of Elliot and I'm sure some of you are as well. I think this is the best solo I've heard him play. Disgusting. He directly plays off of Wynton's solo and then does this crazy lick at 0:16-0:23 how does he think of this lol. The rhythmic and harmonic choices are something else. Like no one plays like this. Definitely not another trombone player. Even Marshall Gilkes is like wtf is happening right now.
