Quickshifter went out on my Trident 660, is it covered under warranty if I bought the bike second hand from an authorized dealership? AUS

I bought my Trident 660 secondhand from an authorized dealership around 6 months ago. Few weeks back the quickshifter that was installed by the same dealership stopped working. Pulling the codes revealed it’s an electrical issue with the shifter itself. The previous owner had it installed a year and 2 months ago, so it should still be covered under the 24 warranty, right?
