Hi all. My bike has developed an issue when at cruising speed - When your not really on or off the throttle, just maintaining a steady speed. Usually in 3/4 gear, noticeable after about 15mins of riding. The issue is both surging of power (I'm trying to maintain a steady speed and without adjusting throttle it'll speed up slighty) AND cutting / fading of power (I'm trying to maintain a steady speed and without adjusting the throttle the bike will slow suddenly). Both the surging and fading make for a lumpy ride and can be a real pain in the ass when I'm filtering / lane splitting. Most of my riding is city / commuting. Occasionally at highway speeds I notice surging too. Bike is on 40,000km, well serviced. Plugs changed last year, oil, filters, coolant, brakes, chain, tyres are all in good shape. I have tune ecu, obd2, and a set of spanners.. What should I be looking for first second third before heading to the mechanic.
