Teeth on fire pain?
Post Body

Hi TN warriors - I was cured (so far) by an MVD in Feb 2020. I got my life back. But several times now I have had my FB friends connect me to a friend of theirs who is dealing with TN. So I am “friending” strangers on FB and trying to help them by sharing my experience.

A person I am messaging tonight has eliminated dental causes of her pain with oral surgeons and dentists, and now a facial pain specialist thinks she has TN. She describes her pain as a terrible jolt of pain in the teeth and jaw when biting that can leave her teeth feeling like they are on fire. My pain was more along my cheek line.

Does the pain more in the jaw and teeth sound like TN pain you have experienced?

After a tooth extraction on affected side I've never had TN pain again. 5 year remission, however I started Tinnitus during that period that never went away, definitely something weird happened with my nerves but there was no proof on MRI and my dental X-ray were fine up until the infection 18 months after the first TN attacks. Still a mystery overall.
