I’m shopping for a new fitness bike, and the FX 3 Disc definitely caught my eye. I’m impressed with the price given that it has hydraulic brakes and a carbon fork, but does anyone know how its tires do on rougher terrain? I’m of course not planning on mountain biking, but there’s a bike trail nearby that changes from pavement to a dirt path with a lot of rocks, and I want to make sure it’s durable enough. I had popped the inner tube on my last bike (also a Trek FX from 2015) once or twice while riding on that specific path.
