Post Body

Hi everyone I’m 31 and just accepted my first contract in alaska. I was really excited until talking to my brother. I have a 12 and 6 year old that will be going with me. I guess I’m looking for anyone that has traveled to alaska with younger kids that could give me some input into taking them or if I should listen to my brother and back out. I could take their dad but he’s super toxic and I don’t want to be pulled into that relationship again. I’m only anxious regarding my kids now. They both really want to go and look forward to switching schools. The contract starts in January.

I’m a nurse and single mom and I’d never dream of traveling with kids. Enrolling unenrolling. What is the kids don’t want to? They could just be saying they want to go to appease you. It’s traumatic to switch schools constantly. I think you might want to rethink it.
