Long story short, I would have to wait three years, minimum, to become a travel nurse, and I figured I would make more money (not the only thing that matters) staying in my business; however, I can see travel nursing as a long-term plan, although I'm not sure how long it will be before AI/robots take over that field too. GPT-4 is being released soon and is magnificently more powerful than GPT-3.
I don't want to have to bathe anyone, but I am willing to work long hours and genuinely enjoy making someone's day better. I wonder, from previous success in sales and campaign work, if I should focus all of my attention on the business because I could have an even more significant impact. The business is short-term. However, I plan to build and sell it within a few years, then invest in a REIT or another dividend-producing portfolio.
With that said, I could see myself enjoying patient interactions, and I have a STEM degree, but I hated most of it, so I'm waffling on taking this path.
Will the contracts consistently pay as much as they are now (I'm seeing $20k/month in some cases), or will they taper off?
