Hi, I’m looking to fly from australia to London early next year. Atm, looking to layover in both Hong Kong and vietnam return trip.
Issue is google flights is showing a significantly lower price and when I look on the actual carrier website, the prices are much higher.
From google flight, it takes you to booking.com and then gotogate to book.
My issue is I am worried if we were to book through a third party site, if we were wanting to change/cancel. It would be significantly harder or maybe impossible unless we pay for their premium package which is an additional $150 each. We’re also looking to potentially upgrade our seats as it’ll be a long flight.
Any advice on how to go around this? Should we just book through gotogate or straight from the carrier? Is gotogate reliable on cancellations or changes to flight?
We just don’t want to pay 2700AUD per person to the UK ðŸ˜
Any help would be appreciated!!!
