Is 31 minutes long enought to change planes in MSP with checked bags?
Post Body

Delta canceled our nonstop flight and now wants us to change planes in Minneapolis-St. Paul. First flight lands at 9:28 a.m., second flight takes off at 9:59 a.m. We will have checked bags. My optimistic travel partner thinks they wouldn’t have scheduled it thus if it weren’t feasible, but I think that’s cutting the time crazy close and want to change.

What say the travel experts of Reddit?

EDIT TO ADD: Many thanks to all for your expertise. After an interminable wait on hold with Delta I was able to get changed to a leisurely 74-minute layover in Seattle instead. I really appreciate everyone’s taking the time to chime in.
