Hi all. Forgive me if I articulate this horribly. I'm a relative travel newb.

My friends invited me to a short trip to Colombia. They had already booked their flights through Booking. However when I try to search for the flights they provided I can't find the return flight. Oddly enough when I search the return flight as a one way on Google Flights, I find it there.

Should I book the flights separately as one way OR should I bite the bullet and get a round trip that returns on a different flight, slightly later. I only ask because I'm sure customs are gonna ask who I've been with and I don't know if it seems suspicious that I took a later flight than my friends. Or is it even a big deal? Any advice would be appreciated .
