Given the negativity of the sub lately, I thought it would be fun to ask what did the boys introduce you to that became some of your favorite media ever.

Garnt talking about the Nier Automata anime planted a seed in my head to play that game. When the switch version released and the game was on sale, I got it and played it for 2 weeks straight. It is my favorite game of all time.

Joey wasn’t the reason I got into anime, but I was first introduced to his content through that medium. I watched a lot of the stuff he used to recommend. One of which is Devilman Crybaby which remains a turning point of where I began to find interest in the humanity and morality. He also was the reason I even considered watching Trash Taste.

Connor’s impact is a little more vague, but my favorite video from him is the 1 hour yaoi audio book one. It was my first taste of long form content, and it basically my taste in YouTube: super long videos on interesting topics. I began to peruse video essays because of this and found some of my favorite YouTubers like Super Eyepatch Wolf and Hbomberguy.
