So I should be having my surgery in the next 1-3 mos or so. I am a bit scared but I have had a lot of other surgeries.

My original plan was to have my bf stay w me in hospital all day and my bestie stay all night. Well now due to covid BMC visitor policy is NO guests for surgery patients and patients admitted inpatient can only have ONE visitor from 2p-7p daily. I am so scared of this. Has anyone had to essentially be at the hospital for 5 days and 4 nights alone with this surgery? After my ffs I was so sick if my friend hadn’t been there I would have been miserable (tho I was mostly fine the next day)

Also, I’m trying to plan having someone at my apartment with me. Those who have had SRS what would u recommend as the minimum amount of time for having someone at home with u before you’re alone?!
