Hairs on shaft before vaginoplasty with tunica graft

The surgeon is saying these hairs don’t cause an issue with the Pi vaginoplasty with tunica graft vaginoplasty that I’m booked in for. I assumed they would do a folicle or scrape to remove such hairs. How ever I’m being told they don’t and they these hairs “are not an issue” how’s that supposed to settle my mind.
Looking for more information on this procedure so I can better understand what they’re saying or am I right and there is going to be hair in awkward places.
